Knapton Remembered

This website has been set up by Knapton History Group (KHG), which is also responsible for administering the site. The initial archive content has been collated by group members over many years, and they continue to add material to the site. It is the groups aim to put as much of the archive as possible on-line so as to share Knapton’s rich history with those who share an interest in it.

If you have photos, memories, stories or historical information about Knapton that you would like to share, please use the form below to send them two us because we would love to see them.

When we receive them, our editors will check your contribution and then let you know how we would like to proceed with them, which may be to publish them here on the website straightaway. Or it might be that we would like to investigate further and dig a little deeper if we think there may be historical nuggets to be found.

If you would like to contribute to our site, you agree to:

• When you make a contribution please consider your own safety and the safety of others. You must not give out your own or anyone else’s contact details or other personal information. Our editors will always remove any non-GDPR compliant details to protect the privacy of all concerned

If you are under 16 and would like to make a contribution to the site, you must;

• obtain your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission each time you do so
• you must show them the contribution you wish to make for their approval before you offer it to us
